Nara Park

Nara Park spans a vast area of 660 hectares and includes Todaiji Temple, Kofukuji Temple, Kasuga Taisha Shrine, which holds valuable historical cultural heritage, National Museum, which is a cultural facility for preservation, Shosoin, etc. And the rich green natural beauty harmonized, it became Nara park called also unparalleled historical park.

 A deer inhabiting Nara Park is a wildlife designated as a natural monument of the country. The deer is very familiar with human beings and eats food from human hands. But it is prohibited to give anything other than a deer cracker ( Shika Senbei ) made exclusively for a deer sold in the park.
