Gion Matsuri – Kyoto

The Gion Festival is one of the three major festivals in Kyoto, and began in the 9th century to stop the series of ranging diseases.

This festival spanning the month of July every year, the magnificent gorgeous Yamahoko decorated with accessories walks along the boulevard.

Music that is played with traditional Japanese musical instruments called "Oshayashi" makes the people in Kyoto feel the comming hot summer.
