Rating 4.0

Oga Peninsula, famous for Nama Hage, is one of the forgotten tourist spots in Japan. However, nature is wonderful and it is also one of the recommended sightseeing places with abundant marine products.

In Monzen, seafood taken there is sold and you can eat it on the spot. The taste of fresh seafood is also special. The Oga Aquarium in Toga Bay exhibits unusual Japanese sea fish. Polar bear born in that aquarium is a famous popular animal in Akita prefecture. There are many shops selling local specialties at Nyudozaki, and there are many seafood restaurants.
