Nishi-Izu area is famous for the beautiful sunset view. One of the most beautiful sceneries can be seen in Koganezaki. While it looks brownish yellow in daytime, it becomes reddish in the setting sun, and turns gold. This unique view is the origin of the name Koganezaki, which means “Golden Cape.”
