National Treasure Himeji Castle, together with Horyuji Temple of Nara, became the first world cultural heritage in Japan in December 1993.
It is characterized by a interconnected-style tower that has bright white walls made of white stucco, and 5 layer 7-story Tenshu. Himeji Castle is famous for the nickname of "Shirasagi Castle" from an elegant appearance like a white eglet spreading wings.
Now, Tenshu of Himeji Castle we are seeing was built in Keicho 14 (1609).
Even now over 400 years have passed, It still have that beautiful figure.
